My e-friends over at
Leon Says caught this lovely tribute to Black History Month at Walgreens. When I originally say this pic, I tilted my head and stared at the screen for a moment trying to understand
WHY Jumbo Cotton Balls would be appropriate tribute. Maybe I should be happy that the display wasn't a skillet, watermelon, Shake-n-Bake, Colt 45 - you see where I'm going with this. I don't appreciate this at all. Who ever do this could have post that sign over so many other things - a wrench, pressure cooker, pencil sharpner, fire extinguisher. Because all the things were invented by African American and I'm sure Walgreens sells these things as well.
