Walgreens Celebrates Black History

My e-friends over at Leon Says caught this lovely tribute to Black History Month at Walgreens. When I originally say this pic, I tilted my head and stared at the screen for a moment trying to understand WHY Jumbo Cotton Balls would be appropriate tribute. Maybe I should be happy that the display wasn't a skillet, watermelon, Shake-n-Bake, Colt 45 - you see where I'm going with this. I don't appreciate this at all. Who ever do this could have post that sign over so many other things - a wrench, pressure cooker, pencil sharpner, fire extinguisher. Because all the things were invented by African American and I'm sure Walgreens sells these things as well.

Politics: Yes We Can

Sorry about all the Youtube videos and the political chat. Well actually I'm only feel bad about all the Youtube videos. This is a historical election, and people are not shy about getting involved and sharing their opinions. Although I am not 100% on who will get my vote on Super Tuesday (New York Stand UP!!), I do see this video as a beautiful and powerful statement in support of Obama. Normally I find celeb packed endorsements kinda chessy and obnoxiously directed to younger voters. BUT this one was well done and very powerful. I'm kinda waiting on Hillary's version cause you know it's coming.
