Finally.....
I don't get in on the "are they black argument" but how Is Oprah going to help Obama get the black vote? No, seriously. Aren't they kinda in the same situation.

I totally agree with you about Oprah. I was thinking the same damn thing. Look at her audience for her show. She has almost completely lost touch with the african american community and that's a beef I have with her daily...

as far as keeping up with the blogs... I usually just write what I'm thinking so it only takes about 5-30 minutes out of my day... if you see... the hits are usually short, sweet, and to the point, not a huge fan of long drawn out posts... but will spend some saturday... belting out a though provoking one if I'm just chilling at the crib... Thanks for stopping by my spot!

As for Oprah and Obama getting the black vote out, a lot of black people for some reason think they're not 'black' enough, whatever the fuck that means, but anyway, my blog is:

it's always about money sistah. politics and the presidential race has little or nothing to do with morale or who is actually the best candidate. it is about money and the fact that obama is calling upon oprah for her star power and financial prowess is proof enough what this presidential race is all about the bigger dollar bills. it is all about the "little" man in the race having a strong backing to help his or her presence on the podium.

even bill o'reilly recognizes this mockery of politics in his book 'o'reilly factor'.

Um...did you write that about Scorpios. I mean that was a too close to perfect. lol.

Ditto with ebonne regarding keeping the post short and sweet.

As for Obama, he needs to get in how he can. Because I'm sure the gun manufacturers and tobacco companies aren't making it rain on his campaign as they do others.

Cool blog. :)

On the question, there is no way in hell Obama is going to win even with Oprah - you see Hillary and them gunning for him, so his period as the beloved "Magical Negro" (now that he's a true threat to even the Democratic status quo) is a wrap and a half.

Plus, Oprah has mad power, but not like that - the folks who bankroll her (and if she's a billionaire, you KNOW how much money those other heads have) aren't gonna have it.

It would be nice for it to happen, just as a change of pace (and Heaven Forbid that the Republican Party would do), but I'm really doubting it.

And in regards to blogs, holla @ your girl at http://www.BlackRadioIsBack.com. :)

I have to disagree with you on Oprah, Oprah is still the Queen of Sheba to alot of black folks, at least the voting ones.

I looked up my horoscope on that site and it was on point for me as well.
