News: Strippers have Diseases!!!

Big Mama told you those hoes were nasty....

Tuberculosis outbreak blamed on stripper

PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - Dozens of people in St. Maarten are being treated for latent tuberculosis after health officials warned that they may have been exposed to the illness by a stripper infected with an active form of the disease.

At least 40 people tested positive after the health department treated an exotic dancer from the Dominican Republic several months ago and sent her home, according to a government news release issued Friday.

Health officials struggled to identify those exposed, launching a public campaign to urge anyone who had contact with the woman to seek treatment. They now believe they have identified everyone infected. source

Music: Cassidy Vs Jay-Z??

Cassidy was asked in an interview with SOHH, how he felt about releasing an album the same day as Jay-z, and this was his answer:

…..Hov legendary but I think right now the way that I got the hood on smash and
the way that my song is popping off. I don’t think it would be a smart decision
for Hov to drop on November the 6th. With the type of buzz the type of song he
got out now. It’s not like a volume 1 or 2 going drop it’s a lot different. It’s
going to be beneficial the same way that Kanye and 50 both benefited from
dropping on the same day. I think if I drop on the same day as someone as
legendary as Hov, I can’t do nothing but benefit from that.

I was never the biggest Jay-z fan, but Cassidy…..You are tripping!!! Please don’t do it to yourself. I like your music but don’t compare yourself to Jay-Z. Your not even fighting in the same weight class as Camel D**k. I don't know which chick you got rubbing your back and gassing you up like this, but that broad needs to stop.

And before you think I’m going soft on the Jigga man, his single Blue Magic isn’t even in the Top Ten Rap Singles on Billboard. Check for your self. Or check here. Scroll down to 37. He’s a "legend" and a CEO, but still can’t make it into the Top Ten. Bwhahahahaha!!!! Flex drop a bomb on that!!!

Movies: Heartbreak Kid

This is not a movie review, but I did see the Heartbreak Kid this weekend. The movie was funny - in a very typical Ben Stiller fashion.

I do however have a small issue with the movie. I think it was a bit coughracistcough. I could be over sensitive, but there were some suspect things in that movie.

First, Ben Stiller's father in the movie was behaving in a ghetto/hip hop manner. I know that all black people are not inherently ghetto and/or hip hop - but certain stereotypes are linked to Black culture. That being said I didn't like the cool, hip hop Dad saying, "Bytchez be crazy." It bothered me.

Secondly, half way through the movie Stiller is having sex with his movie wife and she says, "Fux me like a Blackman." The 90% White movie theater howls with laughter. I lean over to person I'm with to say, "..that was racist." Another Blackwoman (not with me) hears what I said and replies, "It sure was." Ben Stiller then gives his wife a rendition of the jackhammer. NOW I'm thinking- Whoa so that's how Blackmen fux. The woman who overheard my comment, gets up. I thought she was going to the ladies room but she never returned to her seat. When I realize that she walked out and I didn't, I felt like a laughing coon because I shrugged it off and continued to watch and laugh.

Thirdly, the only Black person to speak in the Heartbreak Kid was a little girl that was clearly mixed. This could be nitpicking but it hard for me to accept movie societies were Black people marginally exist.

Quote: Iranian President.

There was a lot of contoversy about the Leader Of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, speaking at Columbia University in NYC on 9.24.07.

Many people feel that he is a brutal tyrant and should not be given an American forum to voice in beliefs. Well I feel like this, always let the next person speak their mind. Because that way you know where they're coming from and the best way to protect yourself. Secondly, like the old expression goes - It's better to be thought a fool then open your mouth and remove all doubt.
.
When asked about his in justice treatment of homosexuals in Iran, Ahmadinejad answered,
.
"We don't have homosexuals like in your country. We don't have that in our country. We don't have this phenomenon I don't know who's told you we have it."
.
This would be hilarious if he weren't a leader of a well armed nation. source

Music: I Get Money rmx

...I'm not the biggest fan of Beyonce, and I may have made 1 or 2 light hearted comments. But this ish right here is sooo foul. I don't care what kind of Arabian Camel D Jay-z is swinging, this is really disrespectful.
...And Beyonce I'm talking to you now: You have too much going on in your life to be looking like a Junior Kim Porter get played in public- for ALL to see. There isn't anything sexy about looking like a fool sprung off the D. But even if Bey doesn't have a spine, and bet Papa and Mama Knowles are not pleased and toiling away in the crypt concocting a plan. Trust.
...And to quote Keyshia Cole: If he ain't gonna treat you the way he should, then let him go. It ain't where he's at it's where he wants to be. And who knew that Keyshia and Kim would be setting a better example for the shorties coming up. SMH
.
.
*I'm gonna wait a moment to get up Jay's ass for the G.O.A.T. comment.

News: OJ Got Me!!

I'm sure everyone knows about OJ Simpson's recent legal trouble, but there's something I need to talk about.

WTF did OJ put in my juice to make me defend his crazy behind no matter what the situation???

NO, seriously. I really believe 100% again, that OJ was set up. I believed he was set up the moment he was a arrest. I didn't even know what had happened yet, and now that I have more details of the Robbery that Allegedly took place in a Vegas Hotel, I'm sure he was set up.

First and foremost, If someone stole my stuff and I knew where they were - I'm getting my stuff back. Secondly - they just happened to be recording the whole situation. Hmmm, that's very normal. And why is yt media trying to make it seem like OJ was acting like a complete manic on those tapes, because honestly I would act the same way. You probably would too. Some steals your property and is actively trying to sell it, what's the first question you'd ask: What did you think you were gonna steal my s**t and sell it?

Who knows maybe I'm a sociopath waiting for my opportunity to shine, but I still OJ is innocent. This is the sign I would have made for OJ but someone beat me to it.

p.s. For a man in his 60's OJ is looking like a real Cat Daddy.

Dating: Chicken Heads

I really want to get married. No, not to fulfill some princess childhood dream. But because I HATE DATING!!! (and regular loving would be nice too.) It's a numbers game blah, blah, blah.... One day you'll find the right one - Whatever!!

And furthermore I think men nowadays have WAY more baggage than women. Seriously. But that's another rant for another day. Today's victim is Ronnie. (If these boys only knew hahaha)

Ronnie is an aspiring rapper/producer. (yeah I'm bored already, too.) Anyway, when we met he was trying to get me to buy his CD, and I ended up with his CD and his number. Normally, things don't happen this way but he's cute. Not my type but still cute. Light and curly with green eyes.

We hung out once but nothing happened. Then I ran into him recently - and got all those it must be fate thoughts running in my head.

So, now where sharing phone time, and I'm wondering why is guy it not keeping my interest. And I'm really thinking hard about this one. Technically he's a "thug" and very do-able - so why am I not feeling him? Then it clicked - He's a Chicken Head!!! *pause for laughter* Why do I say this you ask? Here are a few examples:

1.) Everytime he spoke in the phone he asked me if I was in my car. I mean like, "Hey, you in the whip?" but not "Hey, how you doing?"

2.) We had this conversation:

Ronnie: Well you know I really a private person. So I don't like people to know who I'm talking to unless its serious you know.....So if we were to hang out It can't be anywhere around here or downtown.

Me: *confused pause* (I can understand not want people in your business. I think that way too, but this sounded odd.) But we live Uptown, and if we can't go Downtown - What do you mean? Out of the state? (saying this out loud has now caused me to have a fit of laughter. I'm laughing now thinking about.)

Ronnie: *waits for me to stop laughing* I'm not saying that but really I want to be that special man in your life. I want to lay in YOUR bed with you. You know the one that comes over after you've had a long day, to help you relax. That guy to bring you something to eat when you hungry. I want to be that guy you come home to.

Me: Well you know how your a private person. I'm the same way with my home. So all that right there is not happening until I get to know YOU better.

Now I'm thinking he really has housing issues. And I don't let random people in my home. Period. I got half on a short stay. Ronnie went on about how I needed to trust, and let him into my heart. *blank stare* I made an excuse and let that convo go to the wind.

3.) This was pretty much the deal breaker. Ronnie said we should spend the day together. I had nothing special to do, so I said ok. When I called him at the agreed upon time *sigh* Ronnie said to me, "Yeah this sound good. So come pick me up and take me out to eat. Then you can take me to a movie."
Isn't this how Birds acts??
Sweating Nicca's for their cars and tryna get dudes to spend money on them? I'm the bytch in this situation. ME!! Not HIM!! WTF??!!

Tell a Friend 2 Tell a Friend - S.K. is too cute for this ish!!

My Life: As Seen on TV

Were do I begin?....Well my mother and her sister (my aunt obviously) had a fight a few years ago and have not been in speaking terms since. Aside from this my aunt has been diagnosed with Cancer and its killing my Mom that she still doesn't speak to her Sis.
Soooooo......
Well, I wrote my Aunt a letter telling my Aunt that my mother said she was sorry. And then I told my Mom that my Aunt said she was sorry and missed my Mom....What??!!.... It worked on every TV show in existance. But seriouly pray for me ya'll. Because I don't know what would me think it's a good idea to do this.

Medicare Don't Care about Poor Folk

Medicare won't pay for hospital mistakes

WASHINGTON - Medicare will stop paying the costs of treating infections, falls, objects left in surgical patients and other things that happen in hospitals that could have been prevented.

The rule change announced this month is among several initiatives that the administration says are intended to improve the accuracy of Medicare's payment for hospital patients who receive acute care and to encourage hospitals to improve the quality of their services.

"Medicare payments for inpatient services will be more accurate and better reflect the severity of the patient's condition," Herb Kuhn, the acting deputy commissioner of the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said in a statement.

The rule identifies eight conditions — including three serious types of preventable incidents sometimes called "never events" — that Medicare no longer will pay for.
Those conditions are: objects left in a patient during surgery; blood incompatibility; air embolism; falls; mediastinitis, which is an infection after heart surgery; urinary tract infections from using catheters; pressure ulcers, or bed sores; and vascular infections from using catheters.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said it also would work to add three more conditions to the list next year.

"Our efforts in this arena and in other payment rules are to ensure that CMS is an active puchaser, not passive payer, of health care," Jeff Nelligan, a spokesman for the agency, said Saturday. He said the rule "underscores our drive toward quality, efficiency and integrity in the hospital setting."

Hospitals in the future will be expected to pick up the cost of additional treatment required by a preventable condition acquired in the hospital.

"The hospital cannot bill the beneficiary for any charges associated with the hospital-acquired complication," the final rules say.

Congress in 2006 gave the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services the power to prevent Medicare from giving hospitals higher payment for the extra costs of treating a patient when infections and other preventable conditions occur during a hospital stay.
source

.....And the poor people will continue to suffer.
Basically if your poor at a crappy hospital, with crappy doctors, hope the hospital will pay for the damage they've cause you or that you can afford a lawyer to sue.

Dating: Some Thing Like A Good Guy

I haven't done a dating post in a while. No, not because I have a lack of subject matter. (shout out to Mama for the good genes.) But quite frankly I'd rather plunk my eyebrows, then acknowledge certain folk. btw - My Arch Game is Sick!!!

Moving on. I guess you can say I have two guys trying to "holla @ me." There not the only two, but they do share something in common. They both think they're "Good Guys." From what I can gather they believe themselves to be good guys because they have jobs and did not say, 'yo mama let me hit.' I'll save the speech about not praising people for what they're supposed to do.

Good Guy #1: Let's call this guy Matt. I've worked with Matt for about 2 years now and it took him a year and a half to approach me just to say hi. NOW, don't give me that unapproachable speech about women being intimidating. I'm hella nice..*blank stare*... at work....for a paycheck. No. I really am nice though. I speak to EVERYONE. Even the man that talks like the next black sniper and the crazy Croatian cleaning lady who hits people with the vacuum. ....wait what was I talking about... oh yeah Matt. His game plan was to sneak into panties by pretending to be my friend. *ring the alarm* A Good Guy doesn't pretend to be your friend. Hello!!!

One Friday he basically told me he wanted the Cookie and I told him
a.) I don't deal with co-workers. Period.
b.) He really just wasn't ready.

Matt laughed, they called me at like 8pm on a Saturday to hang out at a club with him and his friends . Unfortunately for him, S.K. has a life and plans of her own and 8pm on Saturday I'm already booked :oP

Monday was cool we chit-chatted about our weekends. Tuesday, Matt no longer puts aside 45mins of his day to talk to me, but he now makes odd comments and circles me when talking. Yes, he walks circles around me or half circles if I'm seated.

I wanna wrap this up by saying 2 things: 1.) This is why I don't deal with people at work personally. Imagine if it got deeper than conversation. 2.) He would preach to me that he was a good man blah blah but to me pretending to be my friend to fvck is just as bad and the dude on the corner. Except it took your lower self-esteem ass 3 weeks of build up to say what the guy on the corner said in 30 minutes. Think about it!!

Good Guy #2: This one is Keith. Our families are really close so I've seen him on and off through out my life. Recently I saw him again at a family function, and he's been sweating me, like crazy, ever since. Keith was giving me the good man speech hard. HARD!!!! How I need a man like him in my life. A good, honest, hard working man. All of this while I'm admittedly letting him caress my leg. So finally, Keith ask, "what's up with me and you seeing where this goes?"

Pause....Before I continue let me say this, my mother is a gossip and already told me that Keith lives with his girlfriend and wants to marry her and have her as the mother of his children. Yep.

So I look Keith in his lovely brown eyes and tell him that I don't think his girlfriend Amanda would appreciate us dating. Keith stuttered, told his version of but we're like "roommates." I laughed in his face.

Moral of these stories beware of the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.

News & Music: R. Kelly Trial Date

In honor of Judge Vincent Gaughan setting R. Kelly's court date for September 17, 2007, where Kelly will face 14 counts of child pornography - I have decided to write a song to celebrate. Like to hear it? Here it goes.....
.
.
*clears throat to song*
.
.

I used to think that I would get away
And life was nothing but an remixed song
But now I know the meaning of true love
I'm scared of Bubba’s loving arms
.
If I am guilty, I can appeal it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

.
I believe I’m Fuucked
I believe I ouuuut of luuuccck
I think about it every night and day
Spread my cheeks and get tapped away
I believe I’m sore
I see me running through that jail cell door
I believe I’m fuccked
I believe I’m fuccked
I believe I’m fuccked
.
See I am on the verge of cell lock down
Sometimes silence can seem so loud
There are men here 4 life I must out run
But first I know they will piss on me, oh
.
If I am guilty, I can appeal it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

.
Ok I'm done. I can't stop laughing long enough to keep typing.
